Jay Ryan

Actor/Producer Jay Ryan is a born and bred Pakeha from West Auckland, New Zealand.

He has been the Co-producer and creative of THE PACKER working with the shows writer Dianna Fuemana since it’s inception in 2003.. This critically acclaimed work has been staged and developed over the last 6 years, touring New Zealand, Australia and playing to sell out audiences at the 2004 Edinburgh fringe.

Jay has been the sole actor of The Packer since it’s premiere in 2004. He has worked extensively in theatre, film and TV throughout Australasia and the UK and worked with the likes of Monty Pythons John Cleese and Academy award nominated British acting heavyweight John Hurt.

Jeremy Lindsay Taylor will take up the Director spot once again for the L.A season of THE PACKER.

We look forward to presenting New Zealand theatre at it’s best in the 2010 Hollywood Fringe!
